Moreover, Israel’s net exports of rough diamonds stood at $3.060 billion for 2010, compared to $1.887 billion in 2009 – an increase of 62.1%.Diamond imports were also up in 2010, with net polished imports totaling $4.218 billion, a 68% increase over 2009, which saw net polished imports of $2.511 billion. Net rough imports increased 50.6% in 2010, climbing to $3.755 billion from $2.492 billion in 2009.
