Diamond Index Slips After Strong Start

Reuters Africa reported the overall PolishedPrices index began the week strongly before drifting downwards.

As quoted in the market news:

The main PolishedPrices index opened up 0.7 percent from the previous week on Monday at 15.2 points. The overall index is currently 21.1 percent above its level of this time last year, and has gained 19.7 percent since the start of the year.
