De Beers in new 10-year sales deal with Botswana

Reuters reported De Beers signed a new 10-year contract for a joint venture with Botswana to sort, vault and sale diamonds from Debswana.

The market news is quoted as saying,

The company, 45 percent-owned by global miner Anglo American , said in a statement that it was the longest sales contract to date between the partners. Debswana is the group’s major producer.
