Uranium Participation (TSX:U) reports its estimated net asset value at October 31, 2016 was CAD$400.4 million or CAD$3.31 per share. On October 31, 2016, the common shares of UPC closed on the TSX at a value of CAD$3.72, which represents a 12.39% premium to the net asset value per share of CAD$3.31.
Uranium Purchases
During October 2016, UPC completed a bought-deal financing and issued 5,200,000 common shares, at a price of CAD$3.85 per share, for gross proceeds of $20,020,000. The majority of the proceeds are expected to be used to fund the purchase of uranium. As of November 2, 2016, UPC has entered into agreements to purchase 560,000 pounds U3O8 at an average price of US$20.57 per pound, with deliveries expected during November 2016. As at October 31, 2016, the number of UPC common shares outstanding was 120,848,713.
