AdelaideNow reported that by this quarter, Australia’s uranium exports are expected to jump.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The Bureau of Resources and Energy Economics said yesterday earnings were expected to increase 24 per cent to about $756 million, with volumes to increase 7 per cent to 7845 tonnes.

This would be driven by an increase in production at the Ranger mine in the Northern Territory, as well as the anticipated start up of the Honeymoon mine northwest of Broken Hill in South Australia, which is expected to produce 400 tonnes per year.
