Mining Weekly reported Uranium Equities (ASX:UEQ) will acquire interest in two joint ventures from Cameco (TSX:CCO,NYSE:CCJ) exploring for uranium.

Mining Weekly reported Uranium Equities (ASX:UEQ) will acquire interest in two joint ventures from Cameco  (TSX:CCO,NYSE:CCJ) exploring for uranium.

As quoted in the market news:

The agreement, which related to the West Arnhem and Rudall River JVs, would simplify the structure of Uranium Equities’ exploration portfolio, and would consolidate its ownership of the 450 km2 tenement package around the Nabarlek mineral lease.

The consolidation, along with the company’s existing presence on the Arnhem Land region through its Nabarlek mineral lease and the Headwater JV with Vale, would give Uranium Equities a renewed focus in the region, the company said.
