Update On Cotter Uranium Mill Cleanup

Canon City Daily Record reported on an update regarding the cleanup taking place at Cotter uranium mill.

As quoted in the market news:

The Cañon City Public Works Committee on Tuesday heard an update on the clean-up operations at the Cotter Uranium Mill from Vice President of Milling John Hamrick.

He showed photos of the site, where the majority of the buildings have been demolished and placed in the primary impoundment pond.

Hamrick said the major challenge for clean up is legacy contamination.
