The Australian reported that approval for uranium exploration in NSW is getting closer, with an expectation that companies will be invited to apply for exploration licences by early next month.
As quoted in the market report:
NSW overturned a long-standing ban on the exploration for uranium in March last year, and since then 39 expressions of interest from companies ranging from Iluka Resources and a Rio subsidiary, to rare earth miners. The NSW land council has also registered its interest.
