Kivalliq Energy Corporation (TSXV:KIV) reportsĀ an update on exploratory diamond drilling at the Blaze Zone, Nunavut, Canada.

The press release is quoted as saying:

Assay results reported in Table 1 of this release are from the first ten of 19 diamond drill holes that have tested the Blaze Zone in 2011. The intervals reported herein build on the success of hole 10-NE-001 drilled at the Blaze Zone at the end of the 2010 season.

Kivalliqā€™s President & CEO, Jim Paterson says:

ā€œThe initial results from our exploratory drilling at the Blaze Zone have been highly encouraging.ā€Ā  ā€œWe are fully funded to continue with our planned 35,000 metres of resource building at Lac Cinquante and discovery drilling at targets like Blaze.ā€

Hey Viv The scint readings on the completed drillings came up with no significant radiation. Is this considered a swing and a miss, or are the alterations and structural features enough to consider more drilling? If I recall, ESO's first drill core results weren't stellar either, but were soon 'off scale'.
