SMH reported Iran is considering stopping its production of highly enriched uranium temporarily putting worries about the country’s nuclear capabilities to rest.

As quoted in the market news:

Fereydoun Abbasi, head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organisation, said in an Iranian TV interview that the country wanted only enough 20 per cent-enriched uranium for its medical needs.

The US and its European allies are worried Iran could refine the 20 per cent-enriched uranium it is producing into weapons-grade fuel for a nuclear bomb in a matter of months.
