Proactive Investors report Hathor Exploration’s (TSXV:HAT) strategic uranium properties in the Athabasca Basin, Canada.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Athabasca uranium deposits are single commodity.  Pitchblende occurs as massive replacements, veins and breccias. Deposits occur within the Proterozoic Athabasca Group sandstone, at the basal unconformity, or within basement Archean or Early Proterozoic gneisses or granitoids.  Deposits in the basement are typically narrow and steeply dipping, with average grades of less than 5 % U308.  Deposits at the unconformity are typically flat lying, with spectacular grade, averages 15 – 20% at McCarthur River and Cigar Lake.
