First Uranium Wins Water Appeal Dismissal

Mining Weekly reported First Uranium (TSX:FIU) shares jumped 13% after  the South African Water Tribunal dismissed an appeal.

As quoted in the market news:

The Toronto- and Johannesburg-listed company said the dismissal vindicated its decision to continue operating the Mine Waste Solutions (MWS) project since the Federation for a Sustainable Environment (FSE) lodged the appeal in March.

The Water Tribunal found that it had no jurisdiction to hear the case and consequently the FSE had no legal standing to bring the appeal, First Uranium said.
