ERA Increases Uranium Output

Mining Weekly reported Energy Resources of Australia (ASX:ERA) has reported a near-eight-fold increase in production in the three months to June, compared with the previous corresponding quarter last year.

Mining Weekly reported Energy Resources of Australia (ASX:ERA) has reported a near-eight-fold increase in production in the three months to June, compared with the previous corresponding quarter last year.

As quoted in the market news:

The Rio Tinto subsidiary produced 632 t of uranium in the second quarter, which was also 3% higher than than preceding quarter.

Production in the 2011 June quarter had been affected by the suspension of processing operations between January 28 and June 15, as a result of extreme rainfall at its Ranger operation, in the Northern Territory, the miner noted.
