Alpha Exploration Appoints Interim CEO and COO

 Alpha Exploration (TSXV:AEX) shareholders approved all resolutions at the company’s general meeting. This included setting the number of directors, the electing of directors as well as appointing an auditor and approving a stock option plan.

As stated in the press release:

Benjamin Ainsworth has stepped down from his role as president and CEO of the Company, but will continue to serve as a key member of the Technical Committee, working on both current exploration projects and new opportunities for Alpha. The Board wishes to thank Mr. Ainsworth for his invaluable contribution to Alpha, and its predecessors, and looks forward to his continued participation on the Board.

The Board of directors appointed Michael Gunning as interim Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, and Warren Stanyer as interim Chief Operating Officer.
