SF Gate reports that U.K. natural gas and power contracts fell after two days of gains.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Gas for summer, the six months from April, lost 1.35 pence, or 2.3 percent, to 58.2 pence a therm, according to broker prices compiled by Bloomberg as of 4:30 p.m. in London. That’s equal to $9.40 a million British thermal units. The winter contract dropped 1.2 pence to 67.6 pence.
