New York’s main contract, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for delivery in May, closed at $102.70 a barrel, a gain of $1.68 from Tuesday’s closing level. In London, Brent North Sea crude for May inched up 30 cents to settle at $120.18 a barrel.
