Reuters reports that Encore Energy Partners LP (NYSE:ENP) and Vanguard Natural Resources LLC (NYSE:VNR) plans to buy a fifty percent stake each in oil and gas assets in the Permian Basin in Texas.

At closing of the deal, expected by August 1, net production from the acquired assets is expected to be about 500 barrels of oil per day each.
