Bloomberg reported that crude oil options volatility surged $2.90 after reports of Iranian oil exports drop.

As quoted in the market news:

Crude for May delivery rose $2.90 to touch $108.25 a barrel at 9:55 a.m., before paring gains. The contract settled $1.52, or 1.4 percent, higher at $106.87 on Nymex.
