Bloomberg.com reports that US private equity group Mount Kellett has pledged $100m to Masan Resources for a 20% stake in their company.
The story is quoted as saying:

“We have invested on the expectation that Masan Resources will ultimately become the leading resources platform in Vietnam and Indochina as a whole,” Jason Maynard, co-founder of Mount Kellett, said in the statement.
