Enviro Lobby Group Welcomes Cancellation of CRG Mining Licence

Mining Weekly reported Mineral Resources Minister Susan Shabangu has revoked the mining rights for the Central Rand Gold mine (JSE:CRD,LSE:CRND).

As quoted in the market news,

The Verlorenvlei Coalition represents the broader community of Moutonshoek and Verlorenvlei, 50 km north-west of Piketberg, in the Western Cape, in their struggle against junior miner Bongani Minerals, an “unknown mining entity that has been granted rights to prospect for tungsten in the agricultural hub of Moutonshoek”.
