Certifying Congo’s Deadly Conflict Minerals

Huffington Post reports that it is time for a new blood diamonds campaign, but this time for the conflict minerals that are tearing apart the Congo.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Currently, we’re faced with a similar situation in eastern Congo. This area has been home to some of the most horrific violence in recent history, driven by the extraction and trade of “conflict minerals” — tin, tantalum, and tungsten, or the 3T’s and gold.
