British Mines Attempt a Comeback as Commodity Prices Rise

Reuters reports that miners and investors are reopening gold, tin and even a tungsten mine in the United Kingdom as commodity prices continue to rise.

The market news is quoted as saying,

Even mines which have been shut for over 60 years are having renewed interest. A tungsten mine in Hemerdon in south western England is gearing up to reopen for the first time after it was closed during World War Two in 1944, industry sources said.
