Lynas Shares Rise on Operating Permit

BBC News reported that shares of Lynas Corp. (ASX:LYC) were up 19% after the company received a temporary operating permit for its Malaysian rare earth plant.

As quoted in the market news:

Lynas shares closed 19% higher at A$1.590 on the Australian Securities Exchange. Once completed, the plant is expected to be one of the biggest sources of supply of rare earth elements outside China.
