Lynas Seals Rare Earth Supply Agreement with BASF

Mining Weekly reported that BASF will get its rare earth supply from Lynas Corp’s (ASX:LYC) Malaysian plant.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Under the contract, Lynas would supply product from both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of its expansion of the LAMP. The Phase 1 development, which would have a 11 000-t/y rare-earth capacity, was scheduled for first feed during the fourth quarter of this year.
