Medallion Resources Ltd. (TSXV:MDL) President, Don Lay, spoke with Resource Investing News on how Medallion is currently looking to set up an independent processing plant in the Middle East. The Middle East is a good jurisdiction to work in because they see the strategic importance of rare earths; they also have tremendous oil wealth and have the capital to diversify their economy because “they’re interested in new types of value change”, Mr. Lay explains. Medallion’s future plans include forming a strategic relationship and long-term supplier arrangement, along with selecting a jurisdiction in the Middle East to set up a processing plant.
