Mining Weekly reported that India and Japan are increasing collaborative efforts in Kazakhstan to source out rare earths.

This opens up opportunities for joint ventures between Indian and Japanese companies outside India,” an official associated with India’s Department of Science and Technology in an advisory capacity said.
