Greenland Minerals and Energy Ltd.(ASX:GGG) announced the renaming of its Zone 2 rare-earth uranium deposit. The Company named the project in the honour of Danish geoscientist Henning Sørensen.
As quoted in the press release:
Today, the collective resources of the northern Ilimaussaq Complex represent one of the largest known
resources of rare earth elements and uranium globally. For these reasons, the Company sees it
as only appropriate to commemorate Henning’s contributions by naming the most significant of these
new resources in his honour.
