For the moment, the province of San Luis is where the country’s largest concentrations of rare earths have been found. Early this year, Canadian mining company Wealth Minerals acquired 6,000 hectares in the Rodeo de los Molles region of San Luis province, based on promising test results for rare earth exploration potential.
