China Considers Purchase-Reserve Mechanism for Rare Earths

China Daily reported that China may implement a rare earth reserve requirement in an effort to control rare earth prices.

As quoted in the market news:

When prices fall to a certain level,enterprises will be required to purchase and reserve rare earths according to the mechanism;when prices rise to a set price, enterprises will be required to sell.
