Vanadium May Shine with Potential in Large Scale Batteries

Mineweb reported that new uses for vanadium may make the metal a more attractive investment.

As quoted in the market news:

Another emerging technology is the use of lithium-vanadium phosphate cathodes and lithium-vanadium oxide anodes in rechargeable lithium batteries.  Ecclestone notes Subaru has developed a prototype of its G4e electric car, powered by lithium-vanadium phosphate batteries.
