Minerals Discussion Begins in San Miguel County

Telluride Daily Planet reported that mining in Colorado may help the US reduce its dependence on China for metals such as vanadium and rare earths.

As quoted in the market news:

Vanadium is prevalent in the Uravan Belt (named after uranium and vanadium which are often found together) and a costly vanadium cleanup was recently completed between Telluride and Sawpit where a mill once stood.
