Largo Resources (TSX:LGO) has announced it has achieved a new monthly production record at its Maracas Menchen Mine during September, having produced 806 tonnes of vanadium pentoxide, surpassing its previous monthly production record of 801 tonnes in June 2016.
As quoted in the press release:

“Largo continues to be focused on achieving consistent production at or above nameplate capacity at the Maracás Menchen Mine. Steady and record breaking production coupled with Largo’s ability to produce vanadium at a low cost shows the Company’s dedication to the success of the Maracás Menchen Mine,” said Largo’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Mark A. Smith.
In August, the Company produced at a total of 746 tonnes of vanadium. Production in August was marginally lower than expected due to instrumentation issues with the deammoniator in the beginning of the month as well as scheduled maintenance at the plant. As the issue with the deammoniator and scheduled maintenance were addressed and completed, the Company solidly produced at or above nameplate capacity for the remainder of the month.
