R1.35bn Tshipi Mining Contract Awarded to Aveng Moolmans

Mining Weekly reported that Aveng Moolmans was awarded the mining contract for Tshipi é Ntle’s manganese project in the Northern Cape.

As quoted in the market news:

Tshipi GM Mokgosi Nkoana said the 54-month contract includes the removal of the overburden, drilling, blasting and hauling of the manganese ore. Preparatory work would start immediately and pre-stripping would be under way by month-end.
