India Firm Plans $150 Million Manganese Plant in Zambia

Mining Weekly reported that Taurian Manganese intends to invest in Zambia by building a manganese plant in the country.

The editorial is quoted as saying:

Imran Merchant, a director at Taurian Manganese, told Reuters in an interview that construction of the plant, which would produce 720 000 t of manganese per year at its peak in 2014, was expected to start by June this year.
