Latin American Minerals Provides Update on Lithium Americas Corp.’s Initial Public Offering

(TSX VENTURE:LAT) previously announced on March 16, 2010 that Lithium Americas Corp., a private company in which Latin American’s subsidiary owns approximately an 17.1% equity interest (8.4 million common shares), had filed a preliminary prospectus with the securities regulatory authorities in each of the provinces of Canada, other than Quebec, in connection with the proposed initial public offering of Lithium Americas common shares.
