Kairos Capital CEO Presents at Opportunity Knocks VIII Investor Conference
Kairos Capital Corporation (TSXV:KRS) President and CEO Steve Cochrane spoke at the Opportunity Knocks VIII Investor Conference hosted by the Howard Group in Toronto on October 25, 2017.
Kairos Capital Corporation (TSXV:KRS) President and CEO Steve Cochrane spoke at the Opportunity Knocks VIII Investor Conference hosted by the Howard Group in Toronto on October 25, 2017.
During his presentation, Cochrane discussed Kairos’ presence in Chile over the last two years, where they have acquired 66,100 hectares across 12 lithium salars, and gave an outline of the company’s financial standing. The Kairos president also outlined Chile’s position in the lithium market as being a significant producer in the world, having the lowest cost of production compared to Argentina and Australia, and offering some of the richest grades of lithium in the world. He also emphasized the excellent support for miners from the government, which does not exist to that degree in neighbouring Bolivia.
Kairos’ position in the country is that of the second largest landowner of lithium properties. They also have a market cap of $49 million, one of the lowest among their peers, meaning that they can provide significant value to their investors. Cochrane took the time to also outline for investors some of the initial sampling results from the company’s prime properties.
Cochrane provided insight into the lithium market as a whole, acknowledging the shift in demand that has taken place with the emergence of electric vehicles.
