Canada Lithium Suspends Commissioning for 3 Weeks for Process Plant Maintenance/Upgrade
Canada Lithium (TSX:CLQ) has suspended operations at its lithium process plant near Val d’Or, Quebec as part of scheduled maintenance and upgrading.
Canada Lithium (TSX:CLQ) has suspended operations at its lithium process plant near Val d’Or, Quebec as part of scheduled maintenance and upgrading. The operation is scheduled to take 3 weeks and will focus on installing an acid cleaning circuit, a bicarbonate recovery circuit and an upgrade to some of the pumping capacity.
According to Canada Lithium’s press release:
sample shipments of battery-grade lithium carbonate product to Japan, Korea and China have been completed. Product quality is in the range 99.5% to 99.9%. One of the reasons for installing the bicarbonate recovery circuit is to continue to enhance the quality of the product. Representatives from the Company’s off-take partner Tewoo ERDC visited the operation last week and Marubeni Corp. representatives will be on site next week.
