Big North Graphite Corp. (
TSXV:
NRT) CEO Spiro Kletas spoke with Resource Investing News about its amorphous graphite project in Sonora,
Mexico. “To the best of my knowledge, only one Australia-listed company is going after this type of graphite. There is a significant market for it. The vast majority of amorphous graphite is produced in China and end users are looking for a supply that’s going to come from outside of China. ” states Mr. Kletas. The Company is
fast-tracking the restart of the Nuevo San Pedro project by sending equipment to the site and
starting assembly of a graphite processing plant. Recently, the Company has also started buying unprocessed graphite from local producers to capture the price difference between unprocessed and processed graphite.
