Production of Cobalt-containing Tertiary Material on the Rise

MetalBulletin reported that cobalt refiners in China are increasing production of cobalt-containing tertiary material on the back of higher demand from the battery sector.

A major Chinese tertiary maker told the news outlet:

Demand for tertiary material is much stronger than expected, it grew explosively. We didn’t expect to see such solid growth last year, it is so obvious.
