    Low-, High-grade Cobalt Prices Take a Hit

    Metal Bulletin reported that profit taking and better producer availability together pushed down international cobalt prices this week.

    Metal Bulletin reported that profit taking and better producer availability together pushed down international cobalt prices this week.

    As quoted in the market news:

    Low-grade cobalt prices dropped to $13.80-14.80 per lb on Wednesday April 16, from $14-14.90 on Friday April 11. High-grade cobalt prices dipped at the upper end to $14.10-14.90 from $14.10-15.10. Prices rallied to two-year highs in the first quarter of 2014, on tight producer supplies and strong spot demand.
