Glencore Ups Shareholding in Minara to Over 90%

Mining Weekly reported that Glencore (LSE:GLEN) now owns over 90% of Minara Resources (ASX:MRE).

As quoted in the market news:

Minara has previously pointed out to shareholders that there was a limited possibility of a third party submitting a competing proposal, as Glencore already owned a majority share in Minara, and a 40% shareholding in the Murrin Murrin joint venture (JV).
