Congo Starts $600 Million Rehabilitation of Rail Network

Bloomberg reported that the DRC will start a large-scale project to improve its rail network and boost the mining industry.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The project is being funded by the World Bank and the government, with $200 million coming from a minerals-for- infrastructure accord signed with China in 2009.
