Low-grade metal prices dropped to a seven-week low of $12.90-14.20 per lb from $13.10-14.35 on Wednesday July 24. Metal Bulletin sources confirmed low-grade business as low as $12.90, and offer prices below this level. High-grade prices fell on the bottom end to $13.50-15 per lb (from $13.60-15), although the upper end was sustained by a small sale in Asia.
