Red River Resources has reported improved operating performance from its Thalanga operation in Queensland, Australia during the June quarter.

Red River Resources (ASX:RVR) has reported improved operating performance from its Thalanga operation in Queensland, Australia during the June quarter.

As highlighted in the press release:

  • Record tonnes mined from West 45 up 29 percent from Q3
  • Zinc concentrate production up 24 percent from Q3
  • Lead concentrate production up 36 percent from Q3

According to the company, improved production at West 45 was partly due to an electrical switch gear upgrade that reduced downtime due to power outages.

As quoted in the press release:

Red River ended the quarter with a cash balance of A$20.2 million; an increase of A$2.7 million from 31 March 2018 and has no debt. Red River invested substantially in exploration and capital development at West 45 and commenced mining at Far West during the quarter.

The company said that it would release a full June 2018 quarterly report before the end of July this year.
