IBTimes reports that base metals were mixed today as aluminum rose and zinc fell.

The market news is quoted as saying,

Three-month aluminum closed $10, or 0.4%, higher at $2,510/ton, while three-month zinc fell $1, or 0.04%, to $2,253/ton.
