Anglo Suspends Irish Zinc-Lead Mine After Accident

Reuters.com reports that Anglo American (LON:AAL) has suspended operations a zinc-lead mine in central Ireland.

The story is quoted as saying:

Lisheen is one of Europe’s biggest zinc mines producing around 175,000 tonnes per year (tpy) of contained zinc and 20,000 tpy of contained lead.
