The Business Insider reports Norilsk Nickel’s (LON:MNOD) Andrey Bougrov is the new chairman of the board of directors.

The Business Insider reports Norilsk Nickel’s (LON:MNOD) Andrey Bougrov is the new chairman of the board of directors.

The market news is quoted as saying,

He has changed in this role Alexander Voloshin, who served as the chairman since March of this year.

Alexander Voloshin was expected to continue chairing the board as a protege of UC Rusal, but he was able just to collect only two votes of the directors during re-election process. Seven other directors voted for Bougrov while Vladimir Strzhalkovsky refrained from voting at all. That means that all three independent directors and Interros representatives supported Bougrov’s candidacy.
