Royal Nickel Pleased with Progress at Beta Hunt Gold Mine

Royal Nickel Corp. (TSX:RNX) announced that in its first two months of gold production, Salt Lake Mining Pty Ltd. has recovered 3,718 ounces of gold from 42,144 tonnes of ore from the Beta Hunt mine.
That’s in line with expectations, and good news for Royal Nickel, which recently agreed to acquire a 67-percent stake in Salt Lake Mining.
Mark Selby, president and CEO of Royal Nickel, commented:

I’m pleased that Beta Hunt, after only two months, is already producing more than 20,000 ounces of gold on an annualized basis and is ramping up on schedule to double production by year-end. This is particularly good news as the gold price strengthens.
