Novatek, Norilsk Nickel, Uralkali: Russian Equities Preview

Bloomberg reports the Micex Index  climbed 0.5 percent to 1,438.91 yesterday.

The market news is quoted as saying,

OAO GMK Norilsk Nickel (GMKN RX): Russia will link the export duty on copper to the market price of the metal, according to an e-mailed statement from the government press service late yesterday. Norilsk, Russia’s second-largest copper producer by output in 2010, fell 1.9 percent to 6,480 rubles.
