Nickel Prices Still Scarred by Ravensthorpe

SMH reported nickel is responsible for more than 8000 West Australian jobs and edging closer to a new price low.

As quoted in the market news:

When the then BHP Billiton Ravensthorpe mine in the South-West shut down, putting more than 1800 people out of work in January 2009, the price of nickel dropped from about $AU30 per pound to about $7.
